I'm with you on the shoefly pie. i guess I am just a tourist for my 16 month stay here in PA. Pecan pie is about as sweet as I want to go for a molasses thing. and as to deep dish, not a huge fan either but the few times a year I go through Chicago I indulge and that satifies any cravings for the rest of the year.
