Look What I Found....

Got home from work this morning at 2am, wide awake, so after surfing the board for a while I checked Craig's List, and there it was:

"Barecue water smoker (charcoal) used only once (Weber) with cover $---

I immediately sent an e-mail, the owner lived in a neighboring community, and then I got up this morning, no response, tried calling 3 times...busy. I figured, f*&^%ed again. Tried to call again around 11am and he answers the phone and he still has it.

Went to look at it. This WSM looks like it came right out of the box, wooden handle, brand new extra top cooking grate to go with it, heavier material cover, very tight fitting, no grease build up. So I bought it, for the grand total of $75.

Checked the lid vent, "M" stamped on it....built in 1990. Here's the pics:

Not a bad day so far!!!!!!!

[smilie=a_cry.gif] Local craigslist search comes up empty [smilie=a_cry.gif] I need 1 more WSM and a Weber grill to update my equip. I hope I can do that this year. It sure would be nice to have a lighter load to carry to contests.
