Well dont look like yall getting much action on the beer bread recipe. Last time I made beer bread it was a can a Bud dumped into a coupla cups of bisquick and cooked till it was done. They might make it different nowadays...I just aint sure. Aint made any since the 70's. If all else fails holler back. I bees glad to Goggle it up for you'uns. Fortunantly I bees off work and here to help till after New Years. Good news for Griff...heard it on good authority just tonight the days are fixing to start getting longer. Sure wished you had of plugged Rudolph on the way to Texas. He done come and took all my money. Some dirty SOB reindeers just need shooting.

Yeah, like post the recipe! Man some of you guys are awful tight with your recipes!
Bigwheel was pretty close.
3 C Self-rising flour
4 Tb. sugar
1 12oz. bottle of your favorite beer.
Put in a 350* oven for an hour or so.
When it's done and still hot brush on some melted butter before cutting.
On this loaf I also sprinkled turbinado sugar on top before cooking.
The sweeterer..the betterer :D
