my favorite meal ...first time this year...
Home grown tomato sandwiches...or
as my dad called em...soggy mater sandwiches

no sandwich bread so I had to use kaiser rolls..



mayo, salt and pepper...that's all BOY!

Dude, those sammys are like crack to me...I love 'em toasted with any kind of bread..And like you said Bread, mayo and tomato with s/p only (lettuce is acceptable, but not required)...
 
you can make blt's later, and I like blts with cheese too, but for the
next week or so, it's just these little morsels of the gods. Taste summer

Brian, you're probably 2 weeks behind us...our sweet corn is
just starting to come in..we'll eat it all and start buying yours in
about a month! :D
 
The wife loves mator sammys I like BLT's less the LT's add cheese. now fresh mators with Slap you mama sliced for breakfast wit eggs, bacon & biscuits & a slice of sharp chedder on the side
 
The difference in seasons amazes me :shock:
We won't see 'maters or.....well anything else for at least another month.....or 2 :(
 
I am a straight up mayo and tomato lady with just a bit of s&p

Oh what I would give for a real tomato right now and not the cardboard variety we have
