JB's jambalaya movie

Ok yall here is my how to make jambalaya movie.
1st some notes:
you can use any meat, poultry or seafood in this you wish.
the mix I used is made by Oak Grove smokehouse here in La.
You can tighten it up with trinity or make creole style by
adding tomatoes.
If you use it like I did DO NOT ADD ANY SALT!!!!!! It has plenty
Follow the directions!
It comes in 2 sizes 7.9oz & 1lb bags.
Here is a link to buy it.

1 or 2tbls shortening
1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
1/2 pound tasso or ham cut into chunks
2 onions, chopped
1 bell pepper
4 cloves garlic
2 cups rice
1 tablespoon seasoning mixture
Brown the chicken. Add the sausage and tasso and cook for about fifteen minutes. Add the vegetables and cook until soft. Add four cups of water and 2 teaspoons of salt. Bring to a boil and add rice. Cover and cook over low heat until rice is cooked About 25 to 30min.
YIELD: 8-10 servings.

Movie note Be sure to see the tip At the end
