JB - looks beautiful down there. Hard to believe rain in New England and snow in La. Best run out and fire up the smoker - you won't get too many opportunities to que in the snow.

My dog found a patch of green(never wizzed on white stuff before

It's not fun anymore. Gonna be 70 Monday.

It's your karma paying you back for poking fun at those of us who live in the north. Although it is too bad it didn't happen at Christmas.

That is too cool man!!! I bet them little Cajuns don't have a clue what happened. Maybe the older ones too.... ;)

Well after doing a quick interpretation of the data provided here I think you just said all Cajuns are clueless. Now this could be a "clue" of itself to the age old dielemma of which side of the Sabine do the coonasses inhabit and which side upon which the dumbasses is located. Now doubt it be conclusive evidence on a stand alone basis of course...but the insightful tidbit could surely be added to the ever growing body of evidence. Did notice the Boy apparently did not have enough sense to come in outta the snow neither. Now ghiainas and juajalotes (sic) act like that too sometimes. Just another tidbit for the pile.

for the pile... ;)

The way the crow flies I live about 120 northwest of the Baton Rouge gang and we didn't even get one snow flake out of it. Just more rain. A total of 5 pulse inches the last couple of days at my house.

I think is was about 5 years ago it only snowed below I-10. Our guys offshore posted pics of accumulation on rigs 20 miles out!

Still not snowing in sw Alabama. When and if it does, it shuts the world down here. Nobody is prepared for snow and ice in this area.

That musta been the same year this lady I work with originally from Kingsville, TX was frockling in 5" of the fluffy stuff when she went home for a visit. It aint neva snowed in Kingsville that I know of other than that one time. I think the Ruskies or maybe the Chicom Commies are pharting around with the weather. They have moochines which can do that ya know? My Daddy taught me all about it. Now Algore might fit in here somewhere..I just aint shore about that.

That reminds me of when I was stationed at Ft. Jackson in Columbia, S.C. back in 1980 or so and we got an inch of snow. It paralyzed the city. No salt, no plows or any of that stuff available. I remembered they used sand. Didn't work too well but at least they tried.
