Is it Pasta Salad or Noodle Salad?

When I make my Italian dressing Pasta salad I use spegettie noodles, cheese, ham, black olives, peas, onion, green pepper, onion and anything else that may go with it. I also make pasta salad using mayo. I have NEVER heard it called "NOODLE SALAD" as it was discribed to me this morning. THAT was the point of this post. :roll:
