I've cooked a lot of butts but never injected one. I'm cooking 2 butts for Fathers' Day and might inject one. Is it worth it and, if so, does anyone have a suggestion for a marinade to inject?

Well for comp I always liked FAB P mixed with water shorted by enough water to contain one small can of pineapple juice (preferably Sacramento brand if you can find it). Certainly not worth the hassle for down home eating unless you got some FAB on hand and want to use it. Guess Joe's kids are still running the store. http://www.theingredientstore.com or that use to be the url anyway. Somebody claim Butcher and Packer has a clone of it but neva tried that one. Its phosphate laced so tends to make the meat stay juicier.
