Any one have any other suggestion on an infrared Thermometer?

What do you plan to do with it? I have this* industrial type (for work) and haven't found any real bbq use for it. They measure surface temperatures, so it won't tell you the interior temperature of the meat. It would tell you the temperature of the outside of your pit, but that won't necessarily directly relate to the cooking temperature where the meat is.

they are good for telling you the temperature of an oven, hot water, coffee, tea water, surface temps of items in a steam table, how cold the snow is on the ground, but are of no use for internal temperatures that are needed for traditional BBQ... better to spend your hard earned money on something that will help you produce better que

I'm wanting to use it to get the temperature of a pizza stone...that is my story for now. It is like one of those toys I probably don't really need but it beats a tie or shirt for my birthday! :D

I also would like a Stoker for the WSM but the WSM really doesn't seem to need one.
