Speaking of disgusting, my tenant pointed me in the direction of a video called "Earthlings" on Google Video.
Being a dog lover I became way too upset at just the shot of a garbage man picking up a stray from the street and throwing it in the back of a crusher garbage truck and the dog appeared happy to have been rescued. You then saw the truck come down and scoop the live dig into the crushing truck. Too often today I find it way too hard to beleive there are people as cold as there are living on this planet.
