We had 1 in the 60s & I miss it so I made this-un. Its great too no mess & re-useable + only 1 light bulb. I saw the origanal ones on pee bay for $400 & up this, one cost $50 to build. ITs Union Made TOO, BOY!

We had one just like that in the '60's when I lived in South Florida. Can't get no evergreens down there. I remember that color wheel fondly red, green, blue, orange, and yellow I think were the colors.

Did you use the Heavy Duty Foil. Might get an extra season or two out of it that way!

Kloset its made with silver Garland rapped around & glued on the ends to coat hangers. the trunk is a 1in wooden dowel drilled so the cut hanger ends insert into the holes
