I love a good hurricane swell for surfing, but, I hate seeing people get hurt or even killed by these storms. I know we are suppose you use wisdom and get out of harms way. Some poor people are stuck on islands and other places. I need to do more preparation for this Dean as it gets closer. everything can be replaced except life. check out this animation of Dean as he heads for Jamaica.....Pray for those folks if you want too.Winds are sustained at 150 mph....that's bad

This is a bad one SS, and they say it won't get any better if it turns NW and gets into the gulf where water temps are up to around 86º, just the fuel it needs. Baton down the hatches.

The outside of the house should be ready..got to bring the pits in the patio and secure loose objects..Then help the elderly people always!!!!!

If you live in Corpus, i got them at Academy window and blind on S.P.I.D.

I used to work for a company that sold those and other
Dade County approved hurricane panels, shutters, etc.
Important that they are secured properly.

Dean is gonna get ugly fast. Almost certainly will be
a strong Cat 5 in the Gulf...and there's no way out.
Someone's gonna get it.
