growing up quick
This isn’t a Q related thing it’s more of a damn the kids grow up quick thing…My oldest 4 years old….decided today that he wanted to swim without his floaty suit…..So I said ok and was within arms reach of him……..I expected him to sink and I would have to grab him…..Well I was wrong……He swam for the first time on his own…..and did a good job….It just goes to show that you never know what your kids can do until you let them try……….
(That’s not to say that I didn’t have a heart attack every time he jumped off the diving board)

That's pretty much how I learned, Wittdog. I asked to jump off the board, paddled out to the rope and pulled my self to the side. Dad was always right there but I was a bit older than 4....
