So I got a Bodum French Coffee Press from the store yesterday. WOW...this might be the essence of coffee. I was a tad leary at first with the whole letting the grounds soak in hot water idea and then relying on the screen to filter out the grounds...but...it worked.

This is some of the best tasting coffee I have ever made. I am going to get an espresso roast and give that a try soon. Have any of you enjoyed coffee this way...I would tell you to get one if you haven't!! :D

I used one at my last job to make my coffee. They wouldn't let us have electric coffee makers at out desks. They made crappy coffee in their big Bunn, but it had a hot water dispenser so I was set. Here, a friend and I have a coffee maker that grinds the beans, then brews. Nice, good, strong, quality coffee. If the take the coffee makers away here I'll start using the press again. Still use it at home from time to time.
