Everywhere you look piles & piles of cut up trees by the curb awaiting city parish to haul away. Yall could load about 100 barges full of prime oak firewood, If you had a way to load em. I'll take some photos for ya

Yes have plenty of pecan hicory & oak down here.

I scored some pecan from a friend but am still looking for hickory and apple if you know where to point me I'm on it.

I've been told that the runners (not supports) on packing pallets are made from hickory.

Just have to make sure you don't use the areas that are painted.

I've yet to try it.

I'd also be concerned with what was stored on the pallets.

DON"T USE PALLETS OR CRATE WOOD, they been treated & kiln dried.
They give of toxic fumes when burned
