DAMN!

There's a LOT of quality work right there!!!

Thanks for posting them pics

When I was lookin at it close The whole base is a big 1 peice copper bowl, with no seam? The base is about 3 ft wide & the whole thing is 6 ft high

I found out what Cypress knees were the hard way when I was
living down in the backwoods of Florida

Was coming down the Appilach. river wide open throttle in an
old flat bottom jon-boat about 1:00 in the morning after a long
night of pulling up river cat traps all night and ran up a clump
of Cypress knees and damn near flipped us over. Found out real
quick like that them Cypress knees just DO NOT move.....LOL

I still think the only thing that kept us upright was the low center
of gravity from the weight of all the fish strewn across the bottom
of the boat!

Yer lucky Joe A knee can rip a boat open, They are tough as a steel pipe

I think if it had been only 1, I woulda been swimmin'
I think the clump of them is what saved the bottom
of the boat.
Handmade wooden jon-boat with a fiberglass skin made by
one of them life long Cajuns from in the Appilach swamps
Them swamp/river dwellers surely be a different breed,
but DAMN FINE FOLK!!!!

Please don't show that to my wife.

Sentimental;
I proposed to her crossing the Atchafalaya basin. We have rented the houseboats off Henderson levee every year since and enjoy the experience of cruising around in the little bateaux and hanging watching the wildlife.

Here is a pic of me in the swamp

That fountain rocks!

JB those are nice.

Ronbeaux we used to fish the basin in that area all the time. We also ate at Pat's and Robyn's. Good eating at those places

I didn't make it! It's in a customers reception area. I used to be a UNION  Plumber/pipefitter & can tell yall that a whole lotta hours went into that. Also in my warehouse I have part of a 4ft X 12ft sheet of copper. We use it sometimes to make roof flashings
