Food allergies in mayo?

I've got that catering gig coming up in a few weeks, and they've requested potato salad.

She said that some people (including her) are allergic to eggs, so she was concerned about the mayo. She asked if I could use Miracle whip.
So...that doesn't have eggs in it?

I was just going to buy it at Sams and slop it in a pan, cause making potato salad for 80 is more work than I want to do for just 400 bucks.
Maybe I'll buy half and make half.
 
I know this sounds sounds dumb, but....... :)
Why don't you make two types one with mayo & eggs(large)
and the other without(small) :eek:
I'm sure that would take take of everybody :D

well that's kind of the idea, but I've never heard of potato salad without mayo! i'm checking out Larry's link now.

But still, is Miracle Whip egg free?

Captain: I have a customer that has the same problem.I make my regular potato salad with Miracle Whip. They like it so much they buy it by the pound now. Evan if I don't get a full cater from them it's easy pick up buck's! I use red B potatoes.No pealing them. Easy money.

But Kraft didn't answer your question! No where in the response did I see, "Miracle Whip does or does not contain eggs"! 8-[
 
Exactly! Idiots just sent a pre-written answer to another question!

Anyway, I'm just going to make one of recipes from the site you gave me that won't have any mayo.
