Dutch oven

After listening to the march ninth bbq central radio show I had dutch oven on my mind. I bough a dutch oven years ago because I found a lodge 12" oven for 15 buck, but I've never used it. Last weekend I gave it a shot with a altered mountain man breakfast.

Full rundown at my blog: http://actsofbordom.blogspot.com

I think Pringles initial intention was to make tennis balls, but on the day the rubber was supposed to arrive a big truck full of potatoes showed up, but Pringles is a laid back company, they said "What the hell, cut 'em up."

Re: Dutch oven

$15 seems like a heck of a deal and the breakfast looks great. I admire you for being adventurous and giving it a try.

Re: Dutch oven

looks great. I've got 10 or 12 pieces of cast iron and we really enjoy using them, especially for making cobblers and up-side down cakes. I've got a big one that goes on the firebox of the smoker everytime I cook for making pintos. best beans you ever ate.
