These pics came from a guy in AZ. A mountain lion had been stalking a
group of hunters on the way out to a hunt for the better part of the
morning. The hunters were pretty sure it was after one of the dogs. When
the cat finally ambushed them, the horses scattered and shots were fired
but no one was sure if they hit the cat or not. Then the mule pictured
tossed its rider and went into attack mode. Unfortunately, it wasn't until
it was almost over that one of the guys in the group started snapping
pics. The mule finally stomped the cougar to death after biting and
throwing it around like a rag doll. The dogs wouldn't even come close
until after the mule settled down.

The cat was still alive here and trying to fight back.

The mule stomped the cat then pinned it to the ground and bit the heck
out of the dead cat several more pic 3

The cat was pretty much dead by now then mule picked up the cat again
whipped it into the air again then stomped the dead cat again for good
measure! Note the dog audience. pic 4

hummmmmmm, can we say PhotoShopped??

even if this is so...

A lot of sheep farmers place mules/donkeys with the sheep herd for this reason. They will watch out for coyetes, cats and any other predator and either chase them off or kill them. We had several minature donkeys that we had around to keep a hill on some land cleaned up. They were always out chasing the coyetes away. A few times there would be a carcass of one or two there the next day.

Oh, I was just told it was photo shpped! I dunno!! I didn't know they could be so vicious!
