We had snow crabs last night and had two clusters leftover and some baked potatoes leftover from Friday night............so I picked the meat and hollowed out the potatoes and seasoned with a little salt, pepper and granulated garlic, topped with butter and cheddar cheese and then under the broiler until the cheese was melted. Pretty tasty!!

Looks good Larry. That may be an idea for the last of the 2007 season crab in my freezer.

Griff, if you put cheese on Alaskan King Crab, I'll come up there and slap you silly. :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

It's not a good deal -- a couple bucks a pound less but I know it's fresh. Last year I got a 40# box straight from the processor and it cost $8/pound and my brother-in-law brought it from the Aleutians as a checked bag so there was no freight charges. Keep in mind it was red king crab, not the brown. Most of the specials you see are brown king crab.
