Well, I was wrong about the price...$1.99 was for the pork chops above... $2.49/lb for Brookfield Corned Beef Brisket Flat Cut...

Check the stores again this year...they were cheaper here...they want to move the left over corn beefs that didn't get bought up for Paddys Day, cause they know the consumers are sick of them already!

Corned Beef Briskets on Sale in almost every grocery store sale ad I got yesterday. $1.99/lb was the cheapest I saw.
Boston Butt, $1.19/lb. (just threw that in)

Cappie, did you check the FoodLion ad. That is who's cheapest down here. Next was Harris Teeter (I think).

O'l that pisses me off that they use the Andy Griffith theme song for their commercals.
Makes me want to lob a grenade everytime I drive by their headquarters. Which is everytime I go home to Salisbury. :ctf: :ctf2: :gib: :tfrag: :trans: :tfrag:

I prefer to get my meats from other stores, though I don't always. The Food Lion right around the corner is the one that was featured in the ABC News undercover story a few years back. Seems someone was dipping old meat in bleach in order to sell it, or something like that. There was a big lawsuit, and I think Food Lion won.

yeah, but I'm just using a 30 watt light bulb, so that helps cut down on the electric.
