Well it's been raining, windy and cool here for the past two days and figured I'd make a pot of chili. I used all of the leftover brisket from last weekend that I had foodsaved, diced it up and threw it in. Anyone in the area come on by and have some!!

Chili sounds great...I made a giant pot of vegetable soup last night in the rain, and today it's sunny and 83!

I'm ready for cold weather and cold weather food?

Oyster roast anyone?

Larry ...

I had planned to do a brisket today just to make some chili with... BUT it has been raining all day... If you were closer I'd stop by for a bowl and a Lite! :( What kind of beans do you use in your chili or is it as true Texas chili with no beans?

Nah, it's chili con carne. Got kidney beans in it, my dad says my chili ain't real chili. I don't care I like it!! It's smelling really good right now!!
