ya'll know what I'ms talking bout right? That chex cereal stuff with peanuts
and pretzel sticks in there?

got some yesterday but it was sweet...now I'm hankering for the stuff I used
to get growing up that was spicy/savory...wanna make a big batch without
the pretzel sticks..

ya'll got any recipes?

This is my wife's recipe and it is always a huge hit.

Chex Mix

2 2/3 cup Rice Chex

2 2/3 cup Corn Chex

2 1/3 cup Wheat Chex

3 cups pretzels

1 can deluxe mixed nuts

1 can cashew nuts

6 Tablespoons butter

2 Tablespoons Worchestershire

¾ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

1 ½ teaspoon Lawrys

melt butter and spices and pour over chex/nuts.

Bake one hour at 250*, stirring every 15 min.

I don't have a recipe, but my godmother always used bacon grease AND butter. Not sure of the amounts, but I'm sure you could improvise. :)
