yep, too late. i ended up going to southend brewery for their 'smokehouse' food and good micro beer. i got neither. the ribs tasted like GAS and the wings were covered in so much spicy bbq sauce that it drowned out the chicken.
the waiter questioned my appetite and i told him the food tasted like cr@p (not exact words). he offered to take the food off my bill and then later the manager came over to talk to me. he was interested in my thoughts on bbq and with the executive chef gave me a tour of the kitchen. turns out the gas tast was probably caused by a bad burner on their grill since they use an electric smoker. all they do is build a little fire and let the thermostat do the rest.
Least you didn't have to pay for that crap....what was a matter with the beer or don't ask
