Models bring her somewhere in our neck of the woods around Tues. She gonna' brush NC? Come right up the Chesapeake? Will Saturday's Redskins/Carolina game predict who will get the brunt of it, with the loser's home town getting pummeled?

Stay tuned!

Hope we win in that case we need the rain! 8-[

my weather guy told me this morning Myrtle's in the clear, but Virginia is a def possibility. Still, he seems to think it'll turn more north, and if landfall comes anywhere on the east coast, it could be more like Virginia north to New Jersey.

this is a strange season....Irene is the 9th storm already, normally only have 2 by this time.

And as coastal residents know, the real hurricane season doesn't even start till now. The worst is supposed to be in September/October. No fun being out of power in August. You'll find me in the freezer.

Woodman I will jump in with you. Never heard of it either.
From where I sit, AC is running 24/7.
98 degrees outside here. AAAAAAAAAAahhhhhhhh.

All the models are now taking Irene off to the north east hooking around Bermuda and staying well off the US coast. :( Some here might like the "hooking" part. :)
