What are your favorite cook books in the following catagories? One per catagory please.

1. BBQ / Smoking

2. Grilling

3. Outdoor Cooking (anything not BBQ or grilling specific)

========================================================
Mine are:

1. Paul Kirk's Championship Barbecue (maybe because it's new still)

2. (don't own a grilling specific book... thinking about getting "How to Grill" - Steven R)

3. Outdoor Cooking with inside help - Justin Wilson

With this web site you don't need a cookbook. Any question I ever have is always answered here and with a great answer on top of that! Take a look in the receipe section...it's chuck full of great stuff!

1. BBQ/Smoking: Both Paul Kirk books

2. Grilling: Weber's Big Book of Grilling

3. Outdoor Cooking: How To Grill, S. Raichlen

I love cook books though, I also own Smoke & Spice-Jameson's, BBQ Sauces & Rubs-Raichlen, Weber's Art of the Grill, 3 of Emeril's books, 2 books by Justin (no last name necessary).

That being said, I have used them all occasionally, but don't use them a lot. Will use them when I get on a kick that I want something "different."
