Man what a trip! You guys sure covered some ground
Thanks for sharing the pics(except the one of Larry  ) and the stories :D

That was great! Thanks for linking my site...I visit 4 or 5 boards daily
and get bombarded every summer with questions from folks who
want to try Carolina BBQ while on vacation...

thus..

I hate you missed so many joints on Sunday and Monday.
And as far as the Scots in NC go, I'm a descendant of the
McLean clan. Plan a trip for the Highland Games sometime!

What a great trip. I'm sure the highlite was meeting me.

If I would have known you were hitting Salisbury I would have had you mow my yard. ;) And told you not to bother with Richards. Even though it's owned by the "uncle of a cousin" (by marriage).

I would have had you go to Hap's for a burger though. Owned by a cousin (by marriage).

We really had a great time meeting you guys and hope to do it again.

Good job John and thank you and Jody again for the hospitality.

Just to let everybody know you also come to Alaska, here's a link to our '04 adventure (hope you don't mind John).

Cool, I didn't even know if that site still works. That Southeast AK trip was a lot of fun. We never have as good a time as when we're with the Griffins. :D

A great trip, and an excellent "documentary". You know, you missed enough good places to justify a second tour. Let me know if you decide to do it, I'll be glad to personally escort you to Lexington BBQ. :)

(Were the two hound dogs really named Cappy and Finney?)

The link explains why the flags were at half mast in Winston-Salem.

Chris, aren't you all related by marriage? I mean you, your brothers and sisters?

Thanks for the replies, guys. The Tour was a lot of fun, and maybe habituating -- I've got a feeling Jody and I will be hitting some of the places we missed -- and revisiting some of the ones we really liked -- now that long-distance riding weather is back. :D
