Here's something I like that has brownies in it.

Caramel Peanut Butter Brownies

1 package Duncan Hines Chewy Brownie Mix

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 (14-ounce) package caramels, unwrapped
1 (14-ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
pecans or walnuts, optional

1 8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup Peanut Butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Prepare brownie batter as directed on package. Spread 1/2 the batter into a 9x13 inch prepared pan. Cover remaining batter; set aside. Bake 20 min. or until batter is firm to the touch.
In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt caramels and butter. Remove from heat; add sweetened condensed milk and nuts; mix well. Spread caramel mixture evenly over brownies.
Cover with remaining brownie batter. Bake for another 25 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, peanut butter and vanilla in medium bowl until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread peanut butter mixture over cooled brownies. Refrigerate until firm.

Note: May add a cup of pecans or walnuts to caramel mixture.

This is my MIL's recipe and it is fool proof and a winner.
BTW, these freeze really well.
