its a bit of a drive up to the boys in Paris, But you might want to shoot em a email, surely a city the size of Houston has a couple Ham clubs..

I like to say thanks to all that help me when I was asking all those silly little questions about ham radios and antenna. Because it all worked I passed my test. Now I have to wait to get my call sign. I have to pick out a radio than I will be able to really enjoy my new hobby.
