Don Cash has had some great posts recently form Florida and keeps talking about the Cuban bread.
Bigwheel has been bringing up the lack of sauerkraut on a number of recent sandwich posts.
Cruising the kitchen, I had some mini hoagie rolls, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, Virginia ham, leftover PP ....
What could I make to satisfy my craving form some Cuban bread and sauerkraut .... A CUBAN REUBAN!
It wasn't real Cuban bread, but I can pretend. My kids got me a Cuisinart "Griddler" for Christmas and
I have been finding all kinds of uses. I was sure it would be easier than a pizza stone and a cast iron pan in the oven.

Ingredients ready to go, "Griddler" heating up.



Assembled and ready to go on the heat.



Ready to eat.
