I'm thinking of doing those Weber vent on the Chaney, I actually have some I ordered for another project ... What do you think?
My Chaney gets plenty of air by just unscrewing the 2" cap at the bottom when I need some extra heat. With the cap out, it adds about 25 degrees to the chamber. I usually don't have a problem getting chamber temps between 300 to 375 degrees with the drum closed and the cap in.

I love that Idea. I even tried 1. But I just couldn't get the cut right on the drum
But I'll try this again. The 1st right cut will make it all worth it.Now matter how many drums I use.
I do have a unlimited drum flow. And I really love this idea.
I first saw this in a book that C. Smokie Hale wrote. And that book is old so I've been wanting one for years

Thanks for the link Smokey Lew,,
