Here is mine. It’s just c channel with smaller c channel to slide up and down within. The smaller is welded to the grate. There is a hundred different ways. There is a simple lever that moves over and holds the crank. I can post some close up picts later if you need them. This attachment was made to sit where my grill grate sits on my barrel grill. This grill has the option of an SM grill or a regular grill. The attachment should help or at least give you an idea.
