Good deal but very noisy. The team next to us used one all night at Salisbury. Sounded like a lear jet landing every time they fired it up.

I need to get my wife one of those to light her dadburn cigarettes, maybe she wouldn't lose it. I can't keep a lighter to light a grill to save my soul.

If anyone is worried about the noise and the size of the one Chris posted, check one of THESE out. I've had mine about two months now and use it to light my charcoal and this thing works great and I'm still on the same 1lb bottle of propane. In my opininon this is great for lighting charcoal and wood.

They work great for me, but Larry gets the worried look when I fire it up.

Gives me flashbacks of napalm and flamethrowers whin I was fighting the Vietcong.

You can send it to me if you want!

Dunno bout your area, but up here... you gotta get an adapter for that. They won't refill the "old" style tanks....Only ones with the OPD. The pic looked like it had the old style threading.

From what I hear you can get them at a local LP dealer, that also sells hardware, but they really scrutinize you, since using adapters to make you old tank work on a new OPD style grill is "against the rules".

Maybe that just up here tho. [smilie=a_whyme.gif]

If you mark a old tank with TORCH ONLY they will fill them around here. Also most OPD vales have internal threads for old hook ups.

Well SHUT MA MOUTH and CALL ME STUPID. I didn't realize that! I just hooked my weed burner (old threaded), into the internal OPD valve threads... PERFECT!

Thanks Chris.

Man... I'm a dumbass sometimes!

Now I actually have a real need to fill a LP tank.... first time in 3 years!

No biggie Scotty. I forgot to mention that on old hook ups screwed into a OPD tank you have to open the tank valve as SLOW as possible. Other wise the valve thinks there is nothing hooked to it and your torch or turkey fryer will have the flame about a quarter of what it should be when turned on full blast.
