Looking for a concession trailor

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that enjoys cooking.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I have thought about getting one of those but cant see spending the money. I like working out of my tents for now.

Cap,

Are you looking for a trailer that you can just sell from, or are you looking for a trailer that perhaps is an "all in one" where you could perhaps, mount a "pellet pooper" smoker, and prep your food, cook you product, and sell, all from the same trailer?

I don't want a pit on it, but I do want a fryer, freezer and fridge,
and some outlets for food warmers.

Calling dehec today to see about requirements it will need to pass.

I'm interested in a concession trailer because I have unique access to
about 20 festivals a year that I don't have to pay to get in.
I didn't make much money last time because of not knowing some
things. I'm sure the guys next to me in the trailor cleared 2000 in profit.

So the trailer could pay for itself within a year, and I could cater out of it too. Plus, with the warm weather here and 15 million annual tourists,
we've got more festivals than you can shake a dead cat at, or something like that.

ahhh, me think I may be onto a scam....

I asked him if a friend of mine (Larry or GlennR) could come
by a take a look at it...

"I am currently in Canada because of my business.
But if you want to buy it, we can arrange a safe deal."

I said no problem, where's the trailer located so my friend
can look at it....no reply yet.

yep, it's a scam..

Hello,

I said, we can arrange a safe deal.
I am selling it on ebay, so I do not have to meet with strangers.
You will have time to inspect it.

Thanks and let me know

So what's the deal? He was gonna take your money? Do I still need to go by and look at it? Should I pack some heat just in case??

nope, he won't let anyone see it..you've heard about these scams
with cars and sellers being in Canada, right? I can't remember how
it works, but you can't get your money back from Canada.
And the car is never delivered.

They're very tricky. Someone on another board corresponded with
a guy for a week, keeping us up to date so we could all follow how the scam works.

red flags here....

1. selling a 15, 000 trailer for 4000.
2, no extra charge for shipping.
3. seller is in Canada and will request funds be sent there.
4. Refuses to let Larry or Glenn even go see where the
trailer is.
5. Ignores multiple questions (can I get inside pics, where's
your barbecue restaurant?"

Thanks for the help, but after calling DHEC, I think it's pretty much
impossible for me to do this. Which is why most of the vendors
come from out of town. Disposal of gray water is a big stopping
point. You pretty much have to have a restaurant to take the
trailer back to to be in compliance.

So the little guy is out.

Right now I'd rather be pissed off about the whole thing
and bitch about it.
Ok.. When your done being pissed off..think about how you can screw THE MAN and go about making your catering gig what you want it to be.

I aint breakin em, but that doesnt make sense, If an out-of-towner can get rid of grey water, why wouldn't a local have acces to get rid of it...

Aren't there RV parks near you to get rid of it, or municipal disposal sites ??

BTW a guy named Jimmy will E mail you in regard to trailers
