I don't know if any of you have tried this seasoning/rub. I've been using it now for the past few weeks on ribs, steaks, beef, pork and chicken. It has a real nice taste and just wanted to pass this along.

Nick,

I agree, I picked some up last fall and was quite pleased with it. A good middle of the road rub, "not too much sweet, heat....." Good one to have in the arsenal.

I do like the stuff on porkchops. MMMMMmmm good. I rub the chops with oil, apply KC rub, grill with a little hickory smoke. It is my kids favorite.

D-dog’s Poultry Rub

• 1 cup ranch dressing mix
• 2 Tbsp of black pepper
• 2 Tbsp of chili powder
• 1 Tbsp of KC Masterpiece BBQ seasoning
• 1 Tbsp of ground red pepper

Use the kind of ranch dressing mix you add milk and mayonnaise to, but DO NOT add milk and mayonnaise to it! Only use the mix powder. I usually pick up a bottle of this stuff at Sam’s Club or Costco.
Mix ingredients together and apply to any kind of poultry!!

Basically whatever chili powder I can get my hands on. I have only tried it on chicken and turkey. If you try it on something else let me know how it goes. I will be curious to know how it turns out!
:D :( :D
