Cleaning aluminum turkey pots

How?

I'm boiling water in mine right now....after it cools, can I scrub it with
a brillo pad? Should I avoid soap all together? I'd like to get it
a little clean for a cook at work tomorrow, but I don't want to damage it.
People get cautious when they see a pot with stains on it.

Thanks, ye Lords of the Pits and Grease Pots!!

Well, the title says ALUMINUM!!

What's the damage?
Just some spots? or is it coated with carbon?
If it's carbonized, they make stuff called soakoff that works like over cleaner.
If it's just some spots ... try 4 tablespoons of white vinegar and 2 tablespoons cream of tarter and 3 cups of water. Heat pot or pan until clean

On it... Or in it? And if it's just from the gas burner... who cares?

Well you tell them that if you assume , then you make an ass of "u" and "me!" Seriously, if it is not "three dimensional" in nature, I don't worry about it!
