Freshest Eggs!

This started like this.......​

I was on the computer this morning and.......
This is funny.
I'm sitting here on the computer and I her one of the chickens in the yard squawking loudly. I get up and don't see anything. I thought a neighbors cat was in the yard. Nothing! I go outside and they quiet down. So, I walk over to the pen and see one of the wooden eggs I keep in there on the ground. Oh, I see a fresh egg in one of the laying boxes so I pick it up. By now a hen in the box next to it stands up and I see another egg under her so I grab it but I picked her up and put her in the other nest. I turn around and get out the pen and she jumps out of the laying box. I look and that quick, like 3-4 seconds, she had dropped an egg. Lol.... I reached back in there and grab it and it's still wet and very warm. Freshest egg ever! I think I might have me a lil breakfast!
So I go to the fridge looking for some bacon or sausage, None! Except for some andouille I'm using to cook with some green beans this evening. That'll do! I cut a chunk off and slice it and into a hot pan it goes.

Time for the eggs!

Made some toast with 15 grain bread and ready to eat

These eggs were beautiful!

And then the folling happens......

Looks nice. I can't eat eggs, allergic. Which means I can't get a flu shot either. Which is kinda weird. I have never had a flu shot, and I have never had the flu. Weird right? Think I have built up a tolerance to it.

But it does look good Trag!

Max, that is wierd! Can you eat anything that may have eggs in it? What about ice cream?

Max, are you allergic to all types of eggs or just chicken eggs.

Have discovered..yes Max is real weird and the guilty hen always cackles first. Good points all. lol Did you notice any fresh warm chicken poo on the egg shell? Thats how I know they are fresh. I been aiming to buy a few chickens but animals can be problematical for us jet setters who travel a lot. Do they have boarding kennels for chickens?

All types, and as long as the eggs are cut with something I can eat them. But just eggs, nope nope nope......
