Braising steak / Brisket

Well chaps...I am a Muppet...!!, when in Costco at the weekend I went to pick up a Brisket to do on the smoker....turns out I picked up a braising steak by misteak [see what I did there..?? ]

Anyhoo, any ideas what I can do with a braising steak?, can I do it the same way as a brisket..??...any recipe . rub ideas appreciated

May just imagine it is Brisket and do it with a recipe / rub from somewhere in this forum......was having such a good weekend as well doing Ribs and a ham successfully until I noticed I bought the wrong slab of meat for this weekend coming..!!

Ok Jambo..us Scotsmen need to stick together. Lay the puppy out on some tinfoil and cover with a can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup...One packet of Lipton Onion soup mix an 2 Tablespoons A1 Steak sauce. Smear it on good. Wrap it tightly in the foil and stick in a 350 oven for about 3 hrs. There ya go. Pretend it is roast.

Have heard a lot of good things about it. Will give it a try one day if anybody ever give me some free Stout. I have lost a lot of weight since moving over to Bud Lite and shooters ya know? in fact I may have some old clothes to donate to any deserving chubby boys who hang out around here. Let me know.
