Fuzzy's Apple Smoked Ribs

The following recipe is a demonstration on how to prepare my Apple Smoked Ribs on a Big Green Egg. Fair Warning: This recipe is for "fall off the bone" ribs...not "competition ribs".

Your comments, questions, and concerns are welcome...and I'd appreciate it if you would share your experience or tweaks to this recipe.

Ingredients:
2 Half Racks of Pork Loin Back Ribs
1 Bottle of BBQ Sauce
Dry Rub
Olive Oil
Spray Butter
1 Aluminum Drip Pan
Aluminum Foil
Apple Wood Chips
Apple Juice

Pairs With: These should be juicy enough on their own...but add extra BBQ sauce if you must.

Suggested Side(s):
Macaroni and Cheese
Steamfresh Broccoli

Method Of Cooking:
Big Green Egg (other smoker or grill) with a V Rack on your cast iron grate...all set on a plate setter with your drip pan in between the grate and setter. Medium-to-Large amount of Natural Lump Charcoal at 210-240 degrees for 6-8 hours. 6 hours for "fall off the bone" with minimal biting...or 8 hours for "pull the bone out of rack" and some charring (cook times will vary based on Egg temperature and preference).

Total Cook/Prep Time: 7-9 hours, 1 hour of prep and fire building, 6-8 hours for cooking (you may want to watch the X-Men Trilogy)

Feeds: 1 lumberjack (1 Rack of Ribs), 2 "growing boys" (1/2 Rack each), 4 people (1/4 Rack each), or 8 hipsters (2 Ribs each)

Double or Triple the recipe for a party!
