Mrs. RB and I are on a sushi kick. I've tried them all, even the raw stuff. I'm hooked. So tonight I tried my hand at some California rolls, well kinda, I used what I had.

I had picked up the short grain rice today and the nice owner of the Chinese Market walked me through it. Not bad for the first try!!

Nice looking roll RB. We eat a lot of sushi here.

Looks great RB. Making sushi at home is a blast until the sake kicks in and the rice starts stickin to everything :)
Been there myself Toby.

Dang old One Hung Low would be jealous of that handiwork. Great job. I just love that stuff.

Very nice job Ron, mine don't come out that good!!! Where's the wasabi?? Also, there's a problem, Japanese make Sushi, not the Chinese, they make #5.

Well they need to come on over here because this was slammin!!! The wasabi was squirted from a tube and mixed with the soy sauce. No need for decongestives here!

Best suschi I ever had was from a Thai restaurant. Course around here Albanians from Noo Yawk City have all the best and often the only Eyetalian food. Figger if a person want a good burger prob take a trip to China Town or maybe Little Saigon over in Haltom City. They have smoked dawgs hung up from the ceiling.
