Hi From Costa Mesa CA

Hi Folks.

Recently started listening to the BBQ central show.
Actually downloaded all past pod casts as well.

I live in So Cal, so I grill about 6 times a week and practice my 4 meats about twice a month. Actually in the winter sometimes I only get to grill 5 times a week due to an occasional sprinkle or two.
My team and I cook on Pretty Drum Smokers with Rocks Stokers. My teammate actually had his powder coated. (Sissey!)

My daily driver is a 55 gallon drum / Texas Hibachi. It actually weighs about 160 lbs all said and done. There’s a lot of cheep ones out there but this one is pure quality. It's made by a guy in Lakewood CA. http://chaneysgrills.com/

This looks like a great cite with lots of real nice folks.
Look forward to sharing and learning with you all.

Mike

Hey Mike, glad to have you on board! I'm new to the site myself and it's been a real great experience. Everyone is very helpful and they usually come up with an answer for you within a few minutes when you post something.

Sounds like you have a nice set up and a lot of experience. I look forward to seeing your posts.

Welcome Mike, good to have you aboard loads of helpful folks here. I downloaded all of Greg's pod casts too and still haven't gotten through all of them, good material.

I'm in sales and travel a bit. I get through about 7 episodes a day with the FF on my ipod.
You can only hear the bbq guru add about 60 times before you cant handle it any more.

Hi Mike. Welcome sir. I know a bunch of old jokes about traveling salesmen if you ever want to hear one. I have a good one about the lightning rod and buggy whip salesman. It seems he needed to sleep in the Farmers Barn etc.
