I've had this en fer years, really like it. It's a American Harvest one. I think it was bout 80 bucks and came with 5 trays an adjustable temp. Been an excellent machine.

Make jerky, dry vegitables fer soups an powders, fruits an fruit leather. Makes great campin food.

Kitchen sure is smellin good now!

Looks good Hillbilly. Now is that stuff in cases or just extruded out nekked? Thanks. I think we would call those beef sticks or Slim Jims. Now my old sausage pal Jerry Fowler would call them Pepperoni Sticks.

Neakked as a jay bird bigwheel. I can make round ones like these, flat strips an it come with a big nozzle fer stuffin sausage what I ain't used cause I got the lem stuffer. Been a real good investment. Had a cheap plastic one before, but it finally broke. Spen't a little more money on this en, but was on sale so not that much more. Homemade much better cause it ain't got all them phony ingriedients in it. Plus, yer imagination be the only thin that limits ya.

Nick, here be the one I've got, really like it. Nice an heavy duty.

Got a flat attachment to as well as a tube ya could use ta stuff sausage, but I thin that would be more work then it's worth!

Here be the finished product:

It's not the best batch I ever made, but it sure be goin fast! Needs a touch more garlic fer my likin.

Well ya know a stuffer can extrude stuff purty good. Just shoot it out of the horn onto a cookie sheet covered in wax paper then stick it in the freezer for a bit. Course it don't give all the fancy shapes of the caulking gun. I made some killer linkless brown n serve type breakfast links like that one time. Should work for Slim Jim type stuff too.
