Cold and windy in Ohio

It's windy and a bit cold here in Ohio so I retreated to the kitchen and made my very first batch of chicken & andoille sausage gumbo, its real good and it did warm me up. I will be making some more soon, I may try some seafood gumbo next.

Wow that do look good. Thinking that probably the meatiest looking batch o Gumbo I ever seen. Now did you happen to forget the Okry? Or maybe that just the way the light is shining on it? Thanks.

No okra or celery....does that maybe mean it's not real Gunbo?

Well Thank You, I thought somebody mite try to make me use okra and celery in it to be real authentic gumbo. However I liked it just the way I made it.
