Summer Vacation Cook 2009
I am down in Texas visiting family. Haven't been home since Christmas. Might as well start off with ribs and chicken.

Up at 5 am to prep the ribs and the pits and get the meats on by 8:00. 6 racks of St Louis spares, two spatched chickens, smoked sausage and smoked boudin served at 12:30.

It is good to be home.

We made it back to Jonesboro last night. What a great trip. For you campers out there, Lake Sam Rayburn is a great place to set up. We spent two days a Mill Creek camp grounds. I was raised in this part of the world and now that I live 450 miles away, I have a new found appreciation for camping on this lake.

Here is a getting ready to go pic.

Did lots more cooking when we came home from the lake.

And here is a bonus feature of my 12 year old catching her first lake catfish.

Do look good Cliff. The folks from up North don't understand that even in Texas anybody born N. of the Brazos is a yankee. Sorta like the War of Northern Agression to the Mexicans. Both the North and South was North to them.
