I think I’m all set…I have the hammock set up, the recliner….a pirates treasure of golden liquid in the chest and the Ipod loaded up with some Blues and Q tunes.

Its not a good thing, but I started thinking; What are the best Blues and Q tunes? Maybe if we list them all DJ Rempe can sell the BBQ Central Soundtrack.

I would add:

You Never Even Called Me by My Name - David Allen Coe

That is an awesome tune!! 8)
Coe tunes double as biker tunes too. 8)
There's alot more but I don't think I could sing the lyrics here.

How about some Buddy Guy and I would definitely throw in some Stevie Ray Vaughan. Also, Gary Moore plays some mean blues as well.

Travis Matt, 'Barbeque and Drink and Few.'

Van Brousard, 'Kidnapper'

Zydeco Playboys, 'Chicken on The Run'

4-A Tradition, 'We Gonna Do That Butt Thang'

Bob Marley, 'One Love'

Van Brousard(again), 'I Got Loaded'

Skynard , Dooibe Bros ,Commodores , Marley , Hank Sr. and Jr. , Willie and all his friends .

Just to name a few.

I got three choices for bbq music...country..western and cajun. Little bluesgrass shouldnt hurt neither. I dont listen to the bugaloog and blues stuff. Guess I got too many honky genes or sumthin:)
