Mike Mills - Peace, Love, and BBQ - Great autobiographical story of three time Memphis and May champion Mike Mills, great family stories and recipes

Steve Raichlens - BBQ USA - Great tour of some of the best BBQ joints across the USA. Raichlen tries to duplicate many of their recipes in the book.

I just picked up Docs book today! More Q reading material for those strange time and places - what can I say, I'm Q-Addict!

It's a good read.

try Cooks Illustrated Grilling and Barbecue
They explain many cooking processes in detail

Paul Kirk's Championship BBQ is another good one. His book on sauces and rubbs is also great because it help you to find your own rub concoction by giving advice on proportions
