Dr. BBQ's Roadtrip - visits BBQ joints all across the country. Nice side stories and recipes.

Mike Mills - Peace, Love, and BBQ - Great autobiographical story of three time Memphis and May champion Mike Mills, great family stories and recipes

Steve Raichlens - BBQ USA - Great tour of some of the best BBQ joints across the USA. Raichlen tries to duplicate many of their recipes in the book.

Couple of good books there

try Cooks Illustrated Grilling and Barbecue
They explain many cooking processes in detail
 
Dr.BBQ'S Big Time book is great I use it often.
Paul Kirk's is next on my list as is Tar Heel Barbecue.
Check out Smokestack Lighnting too. 8)
