Fine looking bones j-bo. Don't worry about the wife laughing, I still take pics after almost 6 years, they eventually quit laughing and just shake their heads. You won't usually hear them complain about the food though, unless they're non-union.

Good looking ribs...it did worry me if that was rosemary in the rub, it can be quite overpowering flavor unless you keep it on the down low.

I'd have eaten them though even if I had to suffer a raised rosemary profile! ;)

The pic of the plate of bones says it all. They will scoff the first time, or two, when you take pictures of plates of food, and then they will just want you to get out of the way so they can dig in.

Good job!

Thermometers aren't much help on ribs. When they look like yours did and you can grab a bone, give it mild tug, and have it want to come loose, you're there.

I didn't think 3 1/2 down ribs tasted any different than 3 1/2 up. They are supposed to be from a smaller pig or something like that.

Those looked meaty enought to me.
