Captain Morgan
Chef Extraordinaire
Most of ya'll have probably heard of the famous Memphis restaurant called Rendezvous...famous for their ribs.
My sister went last year and brought me back a bottle of their sauce and I just got around to trying it last night. Wow! Great stuff! I had put off using it because I thought it was one those thick KC style sauces, but it was thinner than I thought, almost a cross between a Lexington and a KC.
Wonderful flavor, nice tang, pretty sweet, not very hot but you can add some pepper.
You can buy it at www.hogsfly.com
I wanted to tell you guys this because I am extremely critical of bbq sauces, and when I find one I like, I want to share it. My tastes are a little different than most, however. I think.
By the way I used it on thighs.
