Thumbing through the ads that the poor postal workers have to mess with, I took a second look at this steak. Fake grill marks.

Alongside it was a group of 4 chicken breasts, invitingly presented with grill marks that aren't parallel. :roll:

Dont know how they go about doing it now. maybe even just photoshop. But years ago, when I knew someone who took those kinds of pics, they would use one of those electric charcoal starters to make the marks,

I'll bet that is most likely Vaseline or mineral oil smeared on as well.

Brown shoe polish, so raw meat appears to be just-out-of-the-roaster succulent.
