Happy St. Pattys day….Remember that Corned beef project I did a few weeks ago…..I had three brisket flats….one was made into pastrami and one was given to a friend…and third was vac packed and has been sitting there waiting for this Holiday….Well I cant wait any more..
Vac Packed

Getting ready for a mustard rub and dip in a little water…

All rubbed out and hit with a little more pickling spice…

This is one of those…I wish you guys had smell-o-vison…..this thing smells awesome….
Rather than boiling the stuff out of the CB….I like to cook it in the roaster in about an in or two of water…the mustard rub will give it a nice crust…The Cabbage, Potatoes and Carrots will be added later….The Mrs is going to pick up some good NY Rye for later in the week..Ruben sammies….
